Spotted giant queues forming in QV square downstairs this morning and heard that they were giving out free Krispy Kreme doughnuts (and you thought people only loved to queue in Singapore). Cannot imagine joining such a huge queue to get one doughnut...Anyway, since we had a bird's eye view from the office window, some colleagues could not resist going down to check it out once the queues got shorter. They were even planning to go to Safeway to buy their own doughnuts if there was no more...hehehe!! The doughnut mood was in the air alright. When they came back up with news that there were still lots more to go and it didn't take much time to get one or two, a few of us decided to go and check it out as well. As luck would have it, when we got there they had decided to speed things up and were giving out doughnuts by the dozens (one whole box each)!

The doughnuts were good though...well worth the 3 minutes it took us to get the entire dozen...hehehe!
What a way to promote the doughnuts even though the shop isn't even going to be in the city but somewhere far out in Narre Warren and will only be opening in June!!!
