Giant caramel corn!

I found the most amazing Caramel Corn in the last trip to Japan - Giant ones. These are huge! Each piece is approximately 5 times larger than the normal ones. Very cute but you really cannot eat that many at one go.

The flavour is a matcha dessert of some sort but I cannot tell what it is.

Boarding Bobbers

Bobbers has gone to the sitters :( Boo hoo! Although I know she will be well looked after, I will miss her! I really hope she will be ok because there will be other bunny smells around...

These are a pressie from Mammo for the Chinese New Year coming up in 2 days! Although there is no CNY mood here, at least we have a holiday this year because it's also Australia Day. :D We will probably just go out for a nice meal.

Horsey horsey

Tomorrow is Melbourne Cup day so there was a parade in the city today to showcase some racing names. I went just to have a look because I haven't actually been to any of the parades that happen for all the various reasons (e.g. Anzac Day, AFL Grand Final, Moomba, Police Blue Ribbon, Olympians homecoming...there seems to be a lot) . It was also a relatively quiet day at work since half the people weren't there as tomorrow is a holiday.

The parade featured former race winners as well as the trainers and jockeys for tomorrow's races. Got to see some the horses "up close and personal" as they were led close to the crowds to say hello.

Holiday

Back from a holiday to Singapore and to Hong Kong with Mammo, sis and bro-in-law! 10 days in total of shopping, eating and getting all my necessary services (e.g.: haircut, dentist, optician) done at lower prices. :) I also had the best flight ever coming back to Melbourne on one of the 777-300ERs on SQ which had a nice roomy seat and a beautiful large screen. I didn't have time to feel bored because playing games was great on a screen that size.
