iPhone owner

We got ourselves iPhones over the weekend. Finally ending our time being extremely backward, while everyone around us migrated to smartphones over the years :)

The first photos we took were profile pictures for each other on the phones and then of course some of Pixie bunny! She does not look too pleased at more new weird devices planted in front of her face. She is trying to glare dangerous rays at me here.

Fancy sweets!

Went by the Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio today. So many yummy sounding sweets in one place! We bought a Chocolate, Caramel, Hazelnut & Mango spread, a Spicy Pineapple Jam, Persian Delight Dark Chocolate, a Coconut|Passionfruit|Ginger|Mint cup and an entire Chocolate|Mandarin|Salted Caramel cake! A bit extravagant but still, a treat for ourselves once in a while :)

Cute candy

Laura came back from her exciting Japan holiday and got us girls in the office a cute packet of candy each. Mine were babushkas! They are so cute there is no way to open them.

Got these at the market today because I really liked one of the colours. Guess which one? :)
These flowers never cease to amaze me when I see how they develop.

CNY presents

Received my CNY pressie from Mammo and Mathilda yesterday! Lots of nice little goodies for me :) Yay!

Got myself a couple of nice things today

We went to Camberwell market this morning as shoppers for a change and I spotted these really cute chrysanthemums. I am not usually a fan of chrysanthemums but these pompon ones are just so amazing! I spotted people admiring them on the street too. Hehe!



When I saw this biscuit tin at David Jones, I really couldn't resist either! Rose biscuits and beautiful tin. What a winner :) The biscuits are fantastic! Studded with almonds and scattered with French crystallized rose petals. Ooohh.....

First swap ever!

This year I decided to take part in a Christmas swap organised by one of my BLU friends Erica. I got paired up with one of her friends, Chiara from Italy and we sent each other handmade goodies, craft supplies, beads and fabric. Here is what I got. How lovely! :) Love the babushka necklace & felt brooch!

Bunny lace bag

I had to get this bunny lace when I saw it even though I didn't know what I would do with it. Bunny anything is always good. Today I made a bag out of it and here it is. =) I am quite proud of it.

A new bag

Tried out a new tutorial for handbag recently. I decided to use my favourite pieces of fabric from the collection I have amassed over the years! I really quite like the finished product :) It is reversible too!

We got these pretty Japanese glasses from Charli a couple of weeks ago. How nice of her to send them all the way to us!

Another birthday

It's my birthday today (and would also have been Bobber's). It was still a work day for me but we went out for a nice dinner and I had cake this morning :)

I tried to share my pressie opening ceremony with Pixie but she was not interested. She rather try and lift weights. Hahaha!

A big surprise

I got a huge surprise today at lunch time when my boss told me that he got me a bunny. He probably thought I was feeling sad because I would look at Bobbers on my office wallpaper every day. :P

Being a pet owner too, maybe he understood the emptiness of not having one around and when he saw bunnies in the pet shop, he thought of getting me one. How sweet!

Anyway, here's the cute little bunny. She doesn't have a name yet.

I love this song! Sesame Street in the 80s' was the best show ever! They don't make kids' shows like that anymore.
