A little skirt

Finally get to try sewing a tiny little skirt - I have no idea how small newborn babies can be!
I still think this is too large.

My first zipper closure skirt

I have been thinking for a while that A-line skirts cannot be that hard to sew so I decided to try and do one. This is how it turned out. A little bit wonky but still wearable :)



The zipper bit was tricky but I still managed to get it to work. And while an initial version didn't fit (!), the final one does now!

A new bag

Tried out a new tutorial for handbag recently. I decided to use my favourite pieces of fabric from the collection I have amassed over the years! I really quite like the finished product :) It is reversible too!

Another hot hot day!

We've got another terribly hot day today. From the morning, the temperature has been climbing steadily up - it is now 45 degrees! Bobbers is in the cool safety of the toilet and we are holed up at home doing art and craft! Hehehe! We have our market stall tomorrow - luckily the temperature will be normal then.

The temperature has dropped 15 degrees in less than half an hour! What exciting weather we have here! Strong winds around though.

My first zipper!

My first attempt at sewing something with a zipper! I have only been visualizing how to do it in my head so far and I've finally put pen to paper (or needle to cloth in this case). It doesn't seem too bad though :)

Another bag!

Finally finished another bag! I always feel like keeping each one that I make because I just like to admire the fabrics and my efforts :) This one is no exception. Hehehe! I've got so many things to make but not enough time so they go on a rotation. Jewelry, bunnies, bags, jewelry....
