My animal fix

Whenever I go to the market, I go to the pet shop for some cute animal therapy. There were quite a number yesterday. A teeny maltese-westie cross (what better combination could you have?), a ragdoll and a couple of beautiful tiffanies. This was the first time I was seeing such lovely cats in a pet shop. They had beautifully soft fur too! I wish I could have one of them.

Market day

Our first market day is over! It was quite a great experience. Going there in the dark and setting up our stall, selling our first item (a handphone case) and selling all sorts of odds and ends during the rest of the morning. The highlights for me were selling a bunch of my bunny softies to one person, finding a Figgjo Turi bowl and getting a set of retro vintage mounted pictures (and I resold one!! Hehehe!). I thought we did quite well on our first try. :)

We got there before 6am to set up our stall! It was still dark but there were buyers already lurking for valuable stuff.

Our stall when it got brighter

These were great! I kept the second and third ones.

One of the recent things I've been wanting. Now I have one!

Australia Day fireworks

We got to see some fireworks going off from the top of Eureka tower for the Australia Day celebrations. I can never take my eyes off watching fireworks :)

Coming up!

Can't wait for the weekend! For a variety of reasons: -
1) I always look forward to weekends anyway
2) It's a long weekend with the Australia Day holiday on Monday (one less day to work! Woo hoo!)
3) We have our stall at the Camberwell Market on Sunday! How exciting! I hope we do extremely well...Hehehe! I think it will be fun. Hope for lovely weather though...:)

Bobbers having fun

This is what Bobbers plays every day. She loves to chase her fleece around. Recently she even picks them up and runs around with them - it's hilarious to watch!

Lime chocolate

Charli got us some chocolates from her Europe trip. Here's a really interesting one - a Lindt Lime and Green Pepper in 70% bitter chocolate. The chocolate is hardly sweet and the lime gel has a nice sourish tinge. Lovely! Won't be getting more of these any time soon though.

Who sits like that??

This was so funny I cannot imagine it is comfortable but she was quite happy like that for a while. Hehehe!

Best buy

This was one of my best buys from Bangkok - an Easter 2007 collection Bunny jug from Whittard. I couldn't believe my luck when I saw it!

New Year fireworks!

Woo hoo! I'm back!

It's been ages since I posted anything because we've been away and since we've been back, our internet access stopped working. After some toiling from the ISP, we are finally up and running again! HOORAY!
