I got these today! Since I couldn't get those with the bunny ears from Nordstrom, these are great too!

The Big Day

My sister's big day came and went so quickly. How time flies! Now she's all grown up already and no longer the little sister that I used to bully when we were young (Hehehe! I used to take the "good" toys and give her the "not-so-good" ones). She's got a great husband now and I am happy for her. :D

Mooncake!

I finally got what I've been waiting a long time for! Every year I try to at least have a couple of these yummy mooncakes from Raffles Hotel. I didn't get to have any last year. This year, I got the usual champagne truffle and a new one - dark chocolate with crunchy pearl.

Back in SG!

I'm back in SG again! Things always seem a little surreal once you haven't seen them for a while. Eg: Lush green foliage around, warm humid weather, clean streets (hehehe!).

Little man aka Small Bunny. He's shy - always hiding under the newspapers. He grunted at first when I patted him because he probably forgot who I am. But after a while I think he liked the attention.

Welcome back pressie from Mammo and Mathilda - box of bunny-shaped japanese mooncakes! I haven't opened them because I need to maximise their life span!

Watched Ratatouille

Went to watch Ratatouille today on free Gold Class tickets. The seats were huge and reclining types but that was about the bulk of the experience for us. We didn't order the fine food & wine that was available. The movie was great though. I really like the animation and the details on the rats (you can even see the different textures of fur on the different rats) and they were so cute and huggable looking! I want a rat like Remy!

Stitching progress

My tea towel embroidery started at Mikes a couple of weeks back is actually completed! However, when I gave it a rinse, the fuschia thread bled! Boo hoo!!! Cheater threads that say they are colourfast! Here is a pic of it just before it was going to be done. It looks a little sadder now. :(

New flavours

Spotted 2 new flavours of Caramel Corn today with cute faces too! Coconut (I think) and Black Sugar. OOOHH! I can't wait to open them!

Visit to the Organic Expo

Went to the Organic Expo yesterday. It was great fun! So many things to buy and sample! I didn't expect that it would be that large too. I tried to buy as much as I could carry since everything was cheaper than the usual prices. Luckily Darlink came to help me lug them all home. Pity it doesn't happen here every year though.

Attempt at sprouting

Bought some organic wheat grains yesterday so that I could try sprouting some greens for Bobbers. While doing some research on the methods of sprouting, I found out that almonds can also be sprouted (or rather, soaked). A couple of useful references - here and here.
