Japanese fabric

Pretty japanese fabric! 

We spent most of yesterday afternoon at the craft & quilt fair. It was certainly a paradise for people who do quilting - there was so much nice fabric all in one place at the same time! I got myself quite a number of bunches of pretty japanese prints. Although I have no idea what I want to do with them right now, I am sure they will come in handy one day :D For now, it is great just admiring all the beautiful prints and colours...hehehe! It is quite inspiring being at these fairs...I am looking forward to getting a sewing machine myself so that I can turn out my own stuff as well!

Interesting weather

Was about to go to bed but thought I would just take a look at the weather radar and look what I found! A rather interesting-looking band of rain over Victoria! It looks really peaceful outside...no rain but I wonder why it is showing up like that...

Cold morning!

We've had the coldest morning this winter so far today. It was 3 degrees when we woke up. However, amazingly it didn't actually feel colder than other mornings - maybe because we dressed warmer knowing that it is colder (Darlink wore 3 layers of long sleeves even). The sky is really really clear though. From my office, I can see much further than usual - it is going to be a pleasant day :)

The album of the moment

Have been listening to Keane's new album Under The Iron Sea. Get it! It is fantastic! It really grows on you even though it might not seem as good as their previous album (Hopes and Fears) initially. The music is heart-wrenchingly beautiful, almost literally...

Spotted Mummy (Bai Yun) and baby panda (Su Lin) yesterday sitting down and eating together. Apparently Su Lin is just beginning to eat bamboo so she must have been trying to copy Mummy....Hehehehe! So cute!

Passed by these boys playing street soccer at Fed Square today. There was one small fella who was wearing his beanie lopsided and covering half of one eye. He looked so cute & funny but I was feeling rather uncomfortable for him...finally after a while he adjusted it :)

Saw this cute TV at Myer today. They come in various cute shapes such as an apple, fire engine, sheep, elephant but my favourite is the giraffe :D

Hmmm...I suddenly noticed that the plants in my Meropark window have changed...that is odd. I didn't find any new seed.

Came across this today...just a rather interesting fact. The fear of long words is known as hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. Somehow there seems to be some irony in that name...

4th anniversary

It's our 4th anniversary today! How time flies! Being a work day anyway - and a busy one at that, we at least managed to get off work early to go to a Thai restaurant for dinner. Darlink also bought me a pretty bunch of flowers :)

Realised that Bobbi bunny has really good hearing and she is quite smart too. Whenever I am cutting apples after dinner, she will come by wait near the kitchen because she knows she will get some :)

Busy...

Been rather busy at work recently. Today I even sent out 21 emails! That must be my record so far. Emails were flying in all directions and will probably increase as the days pass and deadlines draw closer...
