Being VERY happy

These past few days Bobbers has been in a very happy mood in the morning. Binkies abound whenever we let her run around the room when we wake up. I cannot imagine how it is like to feel so happy that you have to jump in the air with delight. But it is a real joy to watch :)

Holiday

Back from a holiday to Singapore and to Hong Kong with Mammo, sis and bro-in-law! 10 days in total of shopping, eating and getting all my necessary services (e.g.: haircut, dentist, optician) done at lower prices. :) I also had the best flight ever coming back to Melbourne on one of the 777-300ERs on SQ which had a nice roomy seat and a beautiful large screen. I didn't have time to feel bored because playing games was great on a screen that size.

One of the rare years I had to work on my birthday I think. I usually take the day off but I didn't this time because I am going on a holiday next week! :)

Was still a nice day though. Had cake in the morning, a little pressie from my boss, collected pressies from Mammo and Mathilda from the post office, had lunch with colleagues, a surprise flower delivery to the office (and carrying that home on the tram! Hehehe!) and dinner out.

Bobbers and I have our birthdays today! I like to think she has the same birthday as me given that we got her in July and she would have been about 1 month old then :)

By a bunny age calculator, Bobbers is also the same age as me today! She is 3 years old.

I saw these at David Jones and I really liked the packaging! I would love the biscuits inside too I bet if they weren't so costly! I'll just have to wait till there is some discount before I get myself some.

Truckload

I cross this busy road on the way to and from work everyday. Occasionally there are truckloads of different things passing by. I've seen (and smelt) truckloads of sheep and cows - the poor things all standing up together peeping out at the traffic (which makes me resolve not to eat lamb and beef). Once I saw a truckload of hay so I had to take a pic. Bobbers would be glad :)

Boo to lousy customer service

When I got this, I was very happy and it was supposed to be for free. I thought I would be able to show Bobbers off in the world! Unfortunately, this card never saw the light of day (in any shop). I cancelled it soon after I activated it because the stupid bank charged me for it although it was supposed to be free and refused to reverse the charge (unfriendly customer service to boot). I complained to the bank and today someone nicer called and told me the charge was waived. Too late though! Boo hoo!

Comedy festival

We've watched 2 shows in the Melbourne Comedy Festival this year - Stephen K Amos (2 weeks ago) and Ross Noble (yesterday). Ross Noble is really funny and his show was great value for money too (>2 hours of laughter!). I think I enjoyed it a lot more :P.

Sometime last week when it was rainy, I spotted a pretty rainbow in front of us. Our view always seems to include a rainbow whenever there is sun after rain. Very nice!
